Science
At Chilton our will be pupils curious and ask questions of the world around them. They will possess the skills and confidence to undertake scientific enquiries at school, in the world around them and in later life. Working scientifically underpins learning in each topic of the science curriculum and from EYFS, our children will ask, investigate and answer their own enquiries throughout their science journey.
Using our beautiful forest school and garden, children will immerse themselves in the natural world, observing changes throughout the year.
As a school, we boast great links with professionals at Harwell Science Centre, often visiting this facility; we understand that nationally there is a shortage of children opting to take up studies and occupations in the STEM fields therefore, our children will be exposed to the numerous opportunities available in this field.
