At Chilton Primary School, writing is at the centre of our broad and ambitious curriculum. Every child in our school - regardless of circumstance - will leave as a competent writer, who not only understands the purpose and importance of writing but also takes pleasure in the writing process.
All children will be the best writers they can be through our rich, quality text-driven programme which covers a broad range of genres and purposes.
Children will have a love of reading and writing through our immersive curriculum, which will serve our children throughout primary school, into their secondary education and beyond.
Children at Chilton will be filled with inspiration for writing, regularly meeting with authors throughout their primary years to encourage a love of literacy.
