Dear Parents and Carers,

Welcome to Chilton Primary School.  As a school we value developing the whole child; we want all of our children achieve their full potential academically, however we also know how important emotional wellbeing and social skills are and that children often discover their lifelong interests and passions within primary school. 

We carefully plan for children’s time with us so that they can benefit from a breadth of opportunities which are woven into our curriculum. Throughout their time at school, children have the chance to go on multiple residential trips, develop their confidence and public speaking through plays and performances, have specialist PE teaching and experience friendly competition, learn a stringed instrument and develop a love for the outdoors in our forest school and well-developed gardening area.  We have a vast array of after school clubs which range from Maths Magicians, French Beanies, Cooking, Dance, Football and IBrick to name just a few!

We positively encourage a sense of family at Chilton, all children are welcomed and valued, we know that everyone is different and that is what makes life interesting. We know how important it is for family and school to work well together to achieve the best outcomes for our children and we are extremely well supported by our school community.

Whether your child is joining us for the first time or you have had children with us for many years, it is important to us that your child is happy and successful.
