TEACHING ASSISTANT VACANCY IN OUR KEY STAGE 1 CLASSES

 

Starting January 2019 or as soon as possible

Salary Grade 4 (point 11 – 13) £17,007 FTE pro rata

approximately £12,059 pa term time only

31.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 0830 – 1530

 

 

We are looking to appoint a talented, caring and enthusiastic teaching assistant to work in our Key Stage 1 classes who will also support children for an hour at lunchtimes.  A 30 minute lunch break will be taken between 1145 and 1215.

 

The successful candidate must have:

  • Enthusiasm to work with children
  • The ability to work as part of a team, building relationships with children, staff and parents
  • A passion for nurturing the emotional wellbeing of children
  • A willingness to learn on the job

TEACHING ASSISTANT VACANCY TO PROVIDE 1:1 SUPPORT FOR A CHILD IN KEY STAGE 2

Temporary Post January – July 2019

Salary Grade 5 (point 14 - 17) (£17,681 pro rata, £7,960 actual salary) for 20 hours per week

0830 – 1330 Monday – Thursday

We are looking to appoint a talented, caring and enthusiastic teaching assistant to provide one-to-one support for a child with a physical disability and learning needs, supported by an Education Health Care Plan.  This post will be physically demanding and requires a person who is able to deal with sensitive issues around the needs of the child and is willing to be trained.

The successful candidate must have:

  • Experience of working with children
  • The ability to work as part of a team, building relationships with children, staff and parents
  • A passion for nurturing the emotional wellbeing of children
