Welcome to Cherry Class! We have 29 creative and enthusiastic learners in our class.

 

Our teachers are Mrs Watson (Monday and Tuesday) and Mrs Barrett (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday). 

 

Our Teaching Assistants in the class this year are Mrs Young and Mrs Morrison who are both with us every morning and Mrs Ali who is in class on a Thursday and Friday afternoon.

Our enquiry question this term is -

What makes a great leader? 

Our topic this term is The Ancient Maya and our enquiry question is ‘What makes a great leader?’ We will be discovering where and when the Maya built their magnificent civilisation. We will investigate how the Maya lived, their culture and their legacy. In Literacy, the children will be writing an Ancient Maya creation myth, a non-chronological report on Pakal The Great and a short narrative piece on The Rain Player.
