Learn with passion to live with purpose
We are a class of 30 kind and enthusiastic learners. Our teacher is Miss De Vries and we are supported by Miss Kerry.
This term, our Geography topic will explore the question: “What makes Chilton a good place to live?” We will focus on our local area, learning that Chilton is a village and following simple trails in and around our school grounds. As part of our fieldwork, we will identify both human and physical features within our village.
We begin the year with an exciting exploration of the question ‘Who Should We Listen To?’ We will explore this question through the actions of Guy Fawkes and events of The Great Fire of London. We will learn how the changing of Monarchs led to Guy Fawkes’ actions. We will look at how The Great Fire of London spread so quickly and what could have been done to stop it sooner. We will compare this with our modern-day firefighting equipment.
