Teaching Assistant Vacancy to Provide 1:1 Support

TEACHING ASSISTANT VACANCY TO PROVIDE 1:1 SUPPORT

From 5th October 2020 (or as soon as possible afterwards)

Salary Grade 4 (point 4) (£18,426 pro rata, £13,570 actual salary)
for 32 hours per week

0830 – 1530 (with half hour for lunch), term time only.

 

We are looking to appoint a talented, caring and enthusiastic teaching assistant to provide one-to-one support for specific children in Reception/Key Stage 1. The role will require you to support the children with their social and communication skills and to help them settle into and fully participate with school life.

 

The successful candidate must have:

 

  • Experience of working with children with SEND.
  • A knowledge of SEN and how to support children with specific needs.
  • Ability to differentiate and support the child with their learning, communication and interactions.
  • The ability to work as part of a team, building relationships with children, staff and parents.
  • A passion for nurturing the emotional wellbeing of children.
