As you are aware, all of our learning this term will be set on SeeSaw. There will be one live session a day as well as daily core curriculum activities. You will find a selection of dinosaur related activities for the children to choose from each afternoon.
This is all outlined on our weekly timetables.
The children have log-ons to some excellent resources. They have access to Bug Club and Ten Town.
Please let us know if you need user names or passwords for these.
In school we use ‘Phonics Play’ to support our Phonics teaching. It is currently free to set up an account on the website and is easy for the children to access.
For the children who are in school, PE will take place on a Tuesday afternoon. Please ensure your child has their PE kit in school for the week and we will send it home with the children on a Friday.
For the children who are learning from home, Mr Bedwell has filmed some weekly sessions for you to take part in.
Please continue to encourage your child to read at home. The children have been given access to the whole of their book band on Bug Club. If you need access to any more books, Oxford Owl offer a free e-book library which you can find here: https://www.oxfordowl.co.uk/for-home/find-a-book/library-page
We would like to thank you for your on-going support in these challenging times. We are so impressed with the level of engagement from the children and it is so lovely seeing them every day on Zoom. Over the next two weeks we will be calling each family who are working from home to have a quick check in and see how you are getting on, so please expect a call from us.
If at any time you need to contact us please feel free to email the class address below, telephone the office or send a message on SeeSaw.
