Office Administrator



From 1 January 2022.

Salary Grade 6, initially point 8 (£20,493 pro rata, £13,839 actual salary)
for 30 hours per week.

0815 – 1515, Monday-Friday, term time only, with 1-hour unpaid lunch break.


We are looking to appoint an experienced office administrator to support administrative, financial and organisational processes within the school. They will also act as the initial point of contact for parents and visitors, so will be an ambassador for the school and embody the values, vision and ethos of the school in all interactions.


The successful candidate must have:


  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience of working in a busy office environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • The ability to respond quickly and effectively to issues that arise.
  • The ability to plan, organise and prioritise their workload to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong IT skills, including use of Word, Excel and email. Experience of school specific systems (including Finance and MIS) an advantage.
  • The ability to use own initiative and take action accordingly.
  • A minimum of 5 GCSEs including English Language and Mathematics (grade C/4 or higher).
