Learning to live and living to learn

Seedlings

Welcome to Seedlings

Welcome to Seedlings where you will find fantastic young explorers who enjoy learning through play inside and outside in our calm and purposeful environment. We are learning independence and developing a "have a go" attitude at the beginning of our school journey.

We are supported daily by our Nursery Teacher Mrs Parkinson who is assisted by:

Mrs Tunks (Nursery Nurse Mon/Tues/Fri)

Mrs Gilder (Nursery Nurse Tues/Wed/Thurs)

Mrs Nesbitt (Support Staff Mon/Tues/Wed)

Mrs Francis (Support Staff Mon/Thurs/Fri)

We also go to Forest School with Mrs Potts and Mrs Harrison.

Our Topic This Term Is:

People Who Help Us

We are going to be learning about all the different people who help us from those at home or in Nursery to other occupations such as the police and medical workers. We have got a new role-play area : a Doctor's Surgery where we can use our imagination. We will be focusing on our personal, social and emotional development this term as we make relationships with staff and new friends. We will also be developing our thinking skills and learning about different feelings.

Nursery is full of amazing children who are learning to live and living to learn.
