Sparkle, Shimmer and Shine!
This term, Reception will be learning about light and how it is used in different ways. We will be researching how important and symbolic light is in a range of religious festivals. During this term the children will be investigating about light sources and what we need light for.
On the Tuesday 12th and Wednesday 13th of December at 10am the Reception children will be performing their Nativity
‘A Wriggly Nativity’.
All the children will be given an acting part and many of them will have words to learn. When the script is sent home, please support your child in learning their words off by heart. There will be more information about the Nativity over the next few weeks.
The time has come for the children to begin attending Star Assembly on a Friday afternoon. Two children from each class will be chosen to receive the ‘Star of the Week’ certificate and a sticker in assembly. Parents are invited to attend the assembly once a month and the dates can be found in the school newsletter.
The children are now ready to join the ‘big’ children on the field at lunchtimes. They are very excited about this and they know that their designated adult is Mrs Heath if they need any help.
